Davy is a highly experienced leader who has managed numerous businesses and has more than 20 years’ combined experience in the food and beverage, consulting, real estate, commodity trading and minerals industry.
On the maternal side, Davy comes from a Malaysian Business family which has interests in Steel, Hospitality, Real Estate and Chemicals. The family business is a close-knit business which had seen several ups and down over the years, which gave Davy the confidence to venture out on his own.
Davy started out his career at the Royal Bank of Canada in 2001 in a senior customer management role specializing in servicing the banking needs of Chinese clientele relocating to Vancouver.
From 2003-2018 Davy relocated to Shanghai China to explore the opportunities in Asia using China as a hub in the East. As the head of Industrial and commercial development Davy followed his path of international operations roles across most business streams and functions – principally in food and beverage consulting, metal trading, factory production, senior business consulting, trade facilitation and assisting foreign business entities to set up their operations in mainland China.
Having lived and worked in two different parts of the world, bridging the West and the East has been a primary focus in his career. Davy applies his deep understanding of business to create partnerships and advise clients around the world. His wealth of experience and insights to multiple industries will help Sky Dragon navigate the transition into a successful global trading house.
